If he's treating her badly, she leaves him, and then you have an affair.
Look at the other way - she gets both bites of a cherry - she doesn't have to commit to you fully, or her husband. If the shit hits the fan, you know she'll stick with her husband, because he's supporting her.
If she's not prepared to leave him, then you can't beleive for one minute that she's going to be devoted to you.
And finally, and most importantly - when someone cheats, knowingly, it exposes a part of their personality. Would you really want to start a relationship with someone who you know *willingly* lies and is deceiptful?
Think about it on that level.
