I agree with you for sure, but living and seeing both Canadian and American school systems, the American system is WAY more self serving and full of "America is always the Good Guy" type of propaganda. From an early age. My son has gone to school here three years and I've already had to set him straight on things, especially history. And lets not talk geography. When I see a map that has nothing but the Continental US, Hawaii off to the South west and Alaska up there all by itself as if it isn't connected to anything. No wonder chldren grow up believing they are an island. They almost have to be in College to learn anything about the rest of the world.
