yeah, it is hard to argue with the quality of his traffic, so agree it isn't really a total waste of time. Definitely nice to be sure you will make a few sales for your work, and you will there. Don't dismiss LLs purely based on low click numbers though. Having a text SEOed freesite linked from half a dozen linklist's category pages that are passing through decent link relevance to you for 2 or 3 years should produce 3 to 5 times the number of signups you will get from from the same site linked from half a dozen linklists who drop your link within months imho.

There is a LOT of linklists that drop sites after 6 months now. Simply making sure you keep sites that dont drop you on the same recip set should see you making a noticably better income from your freesite work after just 12 months.

BTW, I'm not sure how long link-o-rama keeps freesites now, but last time I looked at the site he had 5000 sites listed.. if they accept 100 submissions per day that means the average life there is just 50 days.
