The difference between SARS is that a pandemic happens every 30-40 years. It happened 3 times in the last century. It's not "media" or science fiction bullshit. My uncle was 16 years old when he died in the last one (in 1969 during the Hong Kong flu pandemic, and it was a mild one..)
