I made a shitload of money back in the DMOZ/AOL days. Thankfully I kept some of it so I could live off it when they separated
I used to be able to tell you to the minute when AOL did their DMOZ download/updates - I could hit "refresh" every 5 minutes and just watch the sales come in.
Ah, the good old days......
