One of the reasons the 'Vette has a reputation for being such a great sports car in the US is because US car magazines are unbelievable biased in favour of their biggest advertisers like GM. Outside of the US the previous 'Vettes have a reputation for being utter shit unless you just like going fast in a straight line. The Z06 is an excellent car but is by no means the best handling car available. Try reading some British car magazines - we have no car industry (hence little or no bias) and plenty of corners on which to test a cars handling ability
