You know. I used to think liek you but teh truth is, it was proven to me that American muscle is weak in comparison to what people can to to their tuner cars. I've seen a 700hp '90 civic that blew away a tricked up Cobra, a Viper and even an Enzo.

Now... would I rice and tune a Civic? Me? No. It's rediculous. It's just a little 4 cyl for point A to point B with some reliability, good fuel mileage and some luxury feel. I wouldn't waste my time. if I wanted 700hp I'd buy an exotic.
