The first 10-15 pounds is all water weight. The rest is a mix of fat and muscle I'm guessing. When you are that big, your body naturally expects you to be putting 4000 calories in. Your system is thrown into shock when you start eating 1500, and the weight just flies off at first I think the first few weeks is the easiest as you see immediate results on the scale. The hard part is when you are closing in on your goal and you've been stuck on the same weight for 2 weeks.

Anyways, they didn't lose 20 pounds of fat.
