Here is a list of generally quite good Napa/Sonoma Chardonnay wineries ($12-40 price range):
ZD
Ferrari-Carano
Freemark Abby
Clos Pegase
Chateau St Jean
Benziger
In the $10 range, Kendall-Jackson, BV, and Hess Select are generally safe choices.
Pinot Grigio or Pinot Gris are also good with Crab, but you will have to be more selective on the vintner.

ADG, if you're a big fan of Chards, you may wanna try Paul Hobbs Russian River Chardonnay, about $40/bottle. It's really quite good.
