When you turn 18 anyone can vote...unless they are a felon.
That's what distinguishes a right from a priviledge..the fact that you don't have to EARN that right when you turn 18...you were born with that right in this country.
You can LOSE that right..sure..but just because you can lose it does not make it a "priviledge."
I can be a grade A asshole and vote all day and every day YOU CAN'T STOP ME...I have that right...I didn't have to earn it...I was BORN with it.
I can see what you're trying to say..but I think you're confusing the issues.
Shit man...breathing is a priviledge..nothing guarantees you that you're going to get that next breath...but in the context that you're trying to use priviledge you are wrong.
A drivers license is a privilege...voting is not it's a right.
