A home invasion in Hialeah ( Miami area ) in 1998 hade more than 250 rounds fired between the owner, and the guys that came in. The owner was hit once with the " Spray and Pray " method, but he emptied 3 magazines from a H&K 9mm. Hit one subject 4 times, and the other 7. Both lived, and the guy with 7 rounds got into a fight with rescue. Thats PCP for you. But the owner said that he was only able to shoot back, when their guns jammed. They were both using Mac 10's
When asked why he used and H&K, he said that it was the only weapon that he knew of what would not jam after rapid fire of 2 + magazines.

I personally never had any problems with my Sig, but I did with a beretta, and a S&W
Don't tell your cute story to the entire German Army, multiple European Police Forces, and over 10,000 uniformed cops in the US then...as they all use the Walther P99. Not exclusively, it's mixed in with Sigs and other products (Glock is most used by US police forces), but it's chosen frequently.

Arguing about "which gun is a better combat gun" is pointless. All of them do their job, and they do it well if maintained. All of them are nearly jam free if cared for. I'm on 7,000+ rounds through mine with zero jams, stove pipes, failures to fire, etc. Not even a single defective bullet...and I'm lazy with cleaning! lol.

It's very similar to arguing about one "car" being better for getting you to the store, a Honda Accord, Nissan Maxima, or Toyota Camry. All will do the job if maintained.
