heres the way to make sure your html pages will been seen correctly on all browsers it's called HTML 4.01 HTML Validation heres some ex of what Netscape will have problems with and some newer versions of Internet Explorer

as you can see most site will not validate for the simple fact of the value (height="?") being used on tables, and the value (background="image")
