I use 6+ LCD monitors (15" w/TV tuner built-in) and no problems whatsoever for nearly 3 years. the model below may be hard to find but check for other brands with similar/better specs/sizes.

if you're going for sheer size/value, Plasma is better bet, but not as great when used as a PC monitor. I also have 2 plasmas (42") and was using them for my PCs but have gone back to the multi-mon LCD setup and only use the plasmas for entertainment. Plasmas have too much potential for screen burn-in (1 of mine already has a windows 98 partial burn-in
) and viewing the web widescreen just got on my nerves after awhile... especially while designing sites/graphics, etc.
and remember if you're getting LCDs, try to get them with TV tuners built in. worth the extra cost.
