LCD is great and you can get a good extended warranty deal at BestBuy and most stores. Plasma is young too and are sensetive to burn and altitudes and I dont know what else. If you ask the pro's they'll tell you that its a pick'em situation and your choice depends on your personal preferences and what your least willing to compromise, since each has their pros and cons. If you go with LCD, everyone knows that Sharp makes the best LCDs by far. Ive got the 26" for my bedroom and the 37" for my living room and theyre both really fucking cool IMHO.
