I'm not one for advice these days. I've not been in a relationship since 2001. After two marriages (and literally paying to get out of the second one), most men I run into get way too comfortable with my lifestyle and finances. I can't seem to find the right guys (ones that are secure and stable themselves). For now, I guess I've given up. I do tend to get attached quickly and easily miss the 'little things' when it's over. Guess it's one of the hazards of being a sentimental softy and wanting to be needed.
