I'm looking for a second car to commute with. I know they aren't making the Diesel Passat this year but they are making the Diesel Jetta. I've heard good things about the new Diesel E Class Mercedes too.

I've had a Diesel Mercedes before and it was a great car, but it was slow and noisy. I've heard that the new diesels aren't like that at all.

Does anyone have one of these new Diesels and share the good things/bad things about it?
