Maybe it's because I am so far removed from being racist that I think this is bullshit, but I don't see anything more than humanity's affinity for stupidity and carelessness in a situation like this rather than skin color being an issue.

People are fucking stupid on a normal basis, especially in large groups and more specifically; when it's pandemonium. Who cares what race they are or who was portrayed in the media doing it?

How about instead of using this as a political or racial tool, people see it for what it is: a disaster that needs to be tended to. Nothing more and nothing less. What's the point in taking an open wound and pouring salt into it?
