the people in the astrodome weren't a bunch of homeless vagrants. most of them had their own places, places that they and their families had privacy from strangers in. places where they could eat when they wanted, what they wanted.

they are certainly NOT better off.

as far as interpreting what she meant - not my job. if you can't say what you mean clearly, perhaps tv and radio aren't the places you should be speaking.

if her son had allowed the army corps of engineers all the money they needed to do the levees right, perhaps the astrodome wouldn't have been needed in the first place.
