How do you know we haven't prevented thousands of potentially deadly hurricanes? This technology can obviously be used for good or evil. In this case, it was used for evil. Our government is removing unnecessary inhabitants of the chess board they call earth. This is a game of survival for them, they're thinking towards the future. And who are you to decide that this isn't just part the New World Order's plans for a better future. A less populated future with more resources availible. They can either A) let the world slowly be destroyed by savages like the ones in New Orleans or B) Take drastics measures to ensure a better tomorrow.
