Wrong. They did what they should have. They protected thousands from the storm that wanted to be protected. It was up to the feds to pick up the slack after the storm. Anyone with a brain knows there is not a city in America that has the resources to tend to 30,000 people on a moments notice. I seriously doubt the city would even have the amount of school buses needed to evacuate that many people in less than 18 hours. You people are doing nothing more than trying to divert attention away from Bush fucking up in a major way. It really is quite sickening.
