We live approximately an hour northwest of New Orleans and got some wind and rain but sustained no damage to our home. We lost power so we decided to pack up the computers and drive to Central Florida to my mother-in-law's house. Of course, the trip that would have normally taken 12 hours took 18-19 instead.

We hope that others in the area were as lucky as we were.
