See, guys put out vids like this that spread across the web faster than butter on an english muffin.
People who don't watch sci fi, or vid games or study special effects get bullshitted easy! They don't think in terms of logic.
Now this vid will gain some popularity and the guys that put it together will get some notoriety that they're good at special effects and will get a job
