I know your background. We've had this discussion before. Now tell me when you were in a flood like this and what the response time was.
Bush is a politician in the 21st century where people expect to live a comfortable life at all times with very few unnatural casualties. Just two generations ago people thought 250,000 casualties was acceptable in a war. Today, 2000 isn't.
"The world"? Not much of an argument there. Since when does holding a minority opinion make one wrong?
