I'm thinking he had been clowning around , jumping off the ropes making a scene directly before that happened.
Either way , any sport requires discipline, in boxing you can't hit someone from behind, so the guy that got knocked out most likely won.. ( not that i wouldnt have knocked him out too ,but i'm not a proffesional boxer either )
