From my digging, their town is on the Northshore, about 10 miles from the lake, and the majority of damage there is downed trees. But I saw a satellite pic of their place, and you can barely see the roof because of all the trees, so naturally I'm concerned. Plus, they aren't far from Slidell, which had been decimated.

thanks hun...I appreciate it...I spent today and yesterday at the Raleigh, NC Red Cross office on the phones taking calls from contributors...the #s and outpouring is amazing...I donated $10000 (5k in check/5k in goods-water, formila, diapers. clothing) yesterday and gave blood this AM...and still feel I should be doing more...I hope lenny and his better 1/2 are ok...and pray for everyone in the striken area...
