Bingo. Think of what all those billions going to Iraq could be spent on domestically. They knew what a major hurricane could do and they didn't do enough to prevent it. It should have been a top priority. Why the hell do we need to spend all this money and lives in this senseless war that is going nowhere? The government itself said they are planning on at least 4 more years and that seems like a conservative estimate. WTF happened to Afghanistan where the real terrorist were?
