Also for the others saying that the US doesn't need any aide. I'm sure we will get through it like we always have but this is much bigger than most people seem to think. They were just talking about it on CNN.
This has effectively put a million people out of work and homeless. Could your country handle that? You think the govt is just going to put them all on welfare and set them up in a styling FEMA trailer somewhere? Even if somehow the govt did this do you have any idea how long something like that will take?
This is an entire major city that just got closed for who knows how long.. Then add in all the other small cities and towns that are in the same position throughout the area.
So Kaiser Sosa You think your country could handle it your selfs if Amsterdam was shut down tomorrow and everyone there had nothing but the shirts on their back? Think you guys wouldn't be asking for any help? You think America wouldn't be sending you donations?
