Price Gouging

It seems that some people are greedy bastards and will take any opportunity to get people where it hurts when they are already down. I remember a few years back there was big talk of price gouging before a hurricane would roll in. Local hardware stores would double or triple the price of plywood because they could.

Well good thing they did that because it made it that much easier for Home Depot and Lowes to roll in and take their share of the market.

I'd buy Home Depot stock because they wouldn't gouge a customer in a time of need. They don't need to.

Just on that they deserve a thumbs up. I'm sure that in Louisiana there were a lot of merchants cashing in on this hurricane at the expense of their customers.
