I understand..I have friends there, and my son's paternal grandparents are in Shreveport. He's already lost his Dad...I've been trying to get in touch with them, but I can't get through. I'm just praying they get out...I couldn't bear to tell him he's lost yet another family member.
I am a fucking wreck about this. I feel like this will likely be the worst natural disaster in my lifetime.....and people's lives could be spared if they'd just leave. Yes, evacuating is a total pain in the ass, especially when after you find you didn't have to...but it's way better than dying just because you are stubborn.
