Most straight men and women think of that shit as disgusting. I'm not trying to gay bash it's just a fact of life. Then again this is a board for adult webmasters. I'm sure homos are better represented here than in society at large.

oh my... time for dawgy to lay it down...
you're right - it is an alternative lifestyle. at least to straight people. your lifestyle is alternative to me and the rest of the gay world. which i might add is at over 25% now if im not mistaken. its a proven fact that gay people are better educated, have better jobs, have more disposable income, and do more for the communities they live in than straight people. im not saying we're better. just making a point, which im sure all the reasonable people on this board will see.
and no, gay porn pics are not the equivalent of straight porn pics. no one said they were. but you act like we're forcing it on you, more so than you are forcing straight porn pics on us. do you think i enjoy the pics that get posted here? personally i dont enjoy them, but i can appreciate their value in this business. do you ever see me bashing people for posting them? i challenge you to find such a post by me.
incidentally, i have enough respect for the fact that most people dont enjoy gay pics, not to post them. in fact i dont recall ever posting a gay pic. i've never had a reason to do so. i could put one in every post i make just to be an ass, but i dont. because i respect my fellow webmasters enough not to "force" them to look at stuff they dont like.
as for gay bashing... the fact that this is even a topic of conversation shows that it bothers you, and anyone else talking negatively about the subject. it shouldnt even matter. yes, i know we aren't living in a perfect world. i dont expect everyone to embrace my lifestyle and accept it. but in this business... gimmie a break.
how would you treat a 400 pound lady who opened an amateur bbw site? or a midget? or a shemale? i know for a fact that there are webmasters already who fit these categories, and they dont ever post here or go to conventions because of people like you, and threads like these. i hope more of these people read this post & start "coming out" and posting, going to shows, etc.
i dont expect every straight person on the planet, or even in this industry, or on this board, to accept my lifestle and the type of sites that i build. but i do expect the same respect i give them - which is letting them live their life, run their business, and yes, even post pics on gfy... without giving them shit about it.
in short, i find it odd, and rather disturbing, that i have to constantly defend my lifestyle on this board, and in this business. things have gotten worse over the last few months, as more webmasters like myself have become open about their sexuality, and more sponsors have jumped on the gay site bandwagon.
i hope this pattern of growing ignorance and animocity toward gay webmasters ends, because i would miss coming to GFY.
