Bourbon can only be made in the United States. (By international law) Most all Bourbons but a few are made in Kentucky, and Kentucky is the only state allowed to put its name on the bottle. Kentucky distillers are very adoment that Bourbon is not Bourbon unless the label says so. The name originates from Bourbon County Kentucky.
