When you grow up in FLATLAND USA (Indiana), then you really appreciate views. I prefer a combination of ocean/city view. There is nothing like the sparkling lights of the city. The problem with just an ocean view is that at night, you see nothing but blackness. My friend lives in Colorado, and the mountains at night are scary. They look like big black ghosts when the sun goes down.
The pool, palms, and mountains in your pictures are a great combination.
