Y'know, the Mantis was the first form I learned in Kung Fu when I was like 5 years old. I was terrified of Mantises when I was a kid but my mom taught me that form. It is DEADLY when used properly. I would catch mantises and watch them fight and in Chinatown in NY the old timers would put mantises in rings with other bugs and watch them fight and bet big dough on them.

Nothing is more ferocious than the female mantis. She's a walking/flying eating and egg laying machine.

Only thing that scares em' is bats.
