I'm a master swordsman. I have trained with every kind of sword we're allowed to. It's not how kick ass the sword looks, it's about how well it's made and how to wield it.
Finest made swords come from Japan. They're folded so many times that if you look at it long enough it will cut you.
The heavy swords like the broadswords are no-fucking-joke.
Some weigh as much as 50-90lbs. They're for cuttin' through armor that's why.
To learn how to roll with one of them you need serious training. Only a few men can fight with them.
But pound for pound, the katana is the fine art.
