There was a man in Vegas several years ago that was suspected of molesting a couple girls...local neighborhood vigilantes hunted him down and cut off his fingers with garden shears...then awhile later the girls confessed they lied...they had been skipping school and didn't want to get in trouble...this is why EVERYONE deserves a fair trial and vigilantism isn't the answer....

You can bring up cases after cases to support the wrongful prosecution, but this wasn't a matter of arresting him because some little girl picked him out. They arrested him based on dna evidence. The odds of people having similar dna are in the trillions. Of course we want someone to pay for this crime, but I'm not saying to sentence him if he didn't do it. I said "give him a fair trial," but I'm going out on a limb based on what little evidence is presented so far and saying that it was probably him. I would make a terrible juror in this case as I'm sure many would. Undoubtedly they'll have a hard time finding a jury that isn't biased because of what's been brought out in the media. I'm with you I don't want to see anyone go to jail over something they didn't do, but there are facts that are very hard to defend and dna is one of them.
