Seriously though, in economics, there's a theory of replacement...when a commodity becomes so expensive that replacements are cheaper, those replacements also hit an economy of scale and efficiency that ensures that their prices become lower and their quality higher.
My suspicion would be that the same people that own those homes have their hand in the alternative feul market also.
