Besides, who/what someone is - is all relative/subjective to your own isolated views on life. This is called "perception". To whom you consider a gangster, may in fact be a Hero to someone else. For this reason, I think you should be more sensitive to others tastes/views. And or at the very least obstain from interjecting with remarks that are completely groundless. It's clear you haven't given the man a chance, thus you have no sense of his depth. Instead, you rather be presumptuous and generalize/classify Tupac's existance as a whole - simply as "gangster".
I look at your perspective as no less childish than some 16-yr old saying "The Beatles are an oldie band, they suck so bad". Or better yet, "John Lennon? Ha, just another hippie". It's all in the same - entirely too pretentious.
