 let's say she went on a crazy no food liquid "diet" and took in 500 calories x 15 days = 7500 calories.
 
 simple weight maintenance for this person would probably be very close to 28,500 calories leaving a calories deficit of = <21000> calories or a weight loss of about 6 pounds.
 
 but i suspect this did not happen.
 
 i suspect the "before" and "after" pix were taken within a very short time span because even 5-6 pounds loss on this person would be visable.
 
 and if you go 15 days on 500 calories per day you will not have much vitality---and this loss of vitality will be visable in a photo.
