That is certainly sad to hear.
I do think people should start another thread about suicide if they want to discuss that stuff. It is a death notice thread, and should show some respect for the individual, friends, and family. It is hard to justify someone's motives without truly knowing them. He may have suffered from a chemical imbalance, we just don't know. Either way, respect should be shown for a fellow human being, as well as those who may have known him and considered him a friend.
