but it's common knowledge
especially here in the UK
because it was recently the queen's ten-millionth julilee (or whatever) there were tons of documentaries about the fall of the british empire (very interesting stuff)
and there was quite a detailed section about britain 'owning' palestine, and then all the jews came over after WWII and then the fighting between them began, and all the terrorism *by jews* against the british ...
and soon enough the british said "fuck this for a laugh" and left. That's probably where the US took over.
and the situation hasn't exactly improved since then
forgetting all this 'holy land' bollocks, the jews were given loads of choice about where they wanted their own country, and if I remember rightly were offered some really nice areas/islands.
But no, they had to move to where they were surrounded by arabs, and to an area where historically jews and arabs are constantly at each other's throats.
