No way. You're way off. Detroit wasn't the "end" of the underground railroad my friend. For the bulk of blacks the end was Canada. Just because after the big conflict many chose to return to the US and settle in Detroit is irrelivant. When slaves talked of freedom, they talked of reaching Canada.
