My brother does special effects editing in action/horror movies and has made several small independant horror films which include his special f/x. Some local christian fundamientalist cops in his small town found out about his fantasy horror site and took it upon themselves to charge him with obscenity back in 2000 but they also charged me as well for referring acting & modelling talent to his company and for doing some webmastering for him.

The charges against me were later withdrawn. (in 2002)

For 5 years we have been up here fighting against this kind of censorship and abuse. My brother just won his case in Toronto, he is now back on the internet and is exonerated of all charges except for 3 stories which were submitted to his site by a former member. Those charges are also being fought, but as it stands we have one in the win column.

Anyone thinking this is an ugly mark on my record is out to lunch. If you're a webmaster in this business at all you should be outraged by the treatment and the charges we've endured, and you should be ashamed of small-minded assholes like this ex-con Trey Hickey aka: pimpdogg. He is part of the problem not the solution.

My brother is still to this day fighting for the cause of freedom of online expression in Canada.

It's about injustice, it's about abuse of power, and it's about standing up for what's right.

Everything written on injusticebusters is the truth, and I stand by it. Anyone taking the time to actually read their site will see that it corroborates what I've said here. Anyone siding with someone like Pimpdogg and thinking this furthers his credibility somehow is, well.... whacked.
