how old are you? Coldplay is trendy right now but I don't think they have what it takes to be any kind of long-term contender. U2 has songs that are raw and passionate, yea, not so much recently, but spanning their whole career, from
Bullet the Blue Sky to Desire to Vertigo to New Year's Day to Sunday Bloody Sunday to Where the Streets Have No Name to Beautiful Day to Elevation to Mysterious Ways.
Name one Coldplay song that exhudes that much energy or passion. Coldplay is like U2 on quaaludes.
