well there are enough idiots in the world that this would work. I mean, you tell the average joe that he has a free $5.00 dollars waiting for him and all he has to do is signup to reputable PayPal, a company working hard to protect peoples privacy as they claim on public forums, and you'll get biters.
Even better would be to capitalize by using the Merchant Referral link in hopes that someone may in turn use their paypal for ebay sales and then you make even more money.
just my opinion on this scam ;)
