I had a rottie named Rook a few years back. He would jump in the pool. no falling involved. My step son tormented him until the dog finally grabbed his head and put him in the dirt. I warned him that the dog was going to grow up and get him one day and it did. I hated to see that dog go. He was great. He would play catch with any type of abll. It made a loud clunk when he would catch the wooden ball. It was the only one he couldn't pop. Damn thing could carry a basket ball in his mouth.
