God put Adam and Even in the garden of Eden, naked... (for a reason)
Eve gave in to temptation & ate the forbidden fruit ...(at the suggestion of Satan)
And it wasn't until AFTER she did so that Adam & Eve were aware of their nudity & covered themselves up in shame (the effect of Satan)
People wear clothes daily, they feel shame in their bodies at Satan's suggestion.

I'm not "religious" and I do not believe in any singular higher power that is 'cut off' from the rest of the world and simply responsible for its creation & all things good, takes no responsibility for the bad ("God works in mysterious ways, blah blah blah")/("That's the work of the devil!") ...it just doesn't fit the way life as a whole works. All things on all levels are a part of something greater, larger, a bigger picture again. Atoms to molecules to matter to an object (either living or not) to that object's purpose/place/function in its location to that location's place in the world to the world' place in the universe, etc etc etc --It spirals outwards from there & this is a pattern that can be replicated no matter what random object you decide to look at. The idea that we are born, gifted with a soul, live a life that goes from point A (birth) to point B (death) and then have our souls go for all eternity to heaven or hell after that short little life, just doesn't fit. Its like trying to stick a square block through the circular hole in that toy we give kids to play with..
