One thing to think about is time.Running to the bank for every 50% deposit means twice the amount of trips to the bank. You get to the bank, you wait in line, you wait for the teller to write the wire, you have to deal with her looking at your account and asking what you do. Thats at least an hour of time. Its so much easier to send a payment once. Most photographers ask for the payment when they send the work. Very few asked for it in the beginning. I fucked up, I couldnt image why someone would want to take my money and not produce anything, or not work quickly to make things right, and then still come to this board.

I am sure he will send a wire eventually, but the question is why does it have to be like this? I expressed concern so long ago. Why not just pay the $20 fed ex and overnight it. Or why not just say the shoot got ruined (if it was never shot) and return the money back then. It shouldnt be this difficult.

Theres been more than one time when a photographer has said hes low on funds and asked me to run by the fed ex and get a check out or deposit in his account. You just do it, thats a part of working together.
