You know, the fact that you don't care about your reputation among your peers really says a lot about you and your company.
The reality in this thread is, you made a deal - a contract (!), and you're reneging on that deal. You think that doesn't affect you or your business? You are a complete idiot. I've never seen anyone so ignorant.
So your story is basically, "We're assholes - we renege on promises that we make and we don't care what anyone thinks about that." Is that what you're saying?
