First of all, there is no fun in that article. Like others said, this is a serious threat. A few years ago tons of poultry had to be killed for the same reasons.
What is funny is that there is a discussion if the farmers that have to put their chickens indoors still can sell their eggs for the prices as if they were laid outdoors. You see, in Holland (and I'm sure other countries too), eggs from chicken that live 'freely' outdoors are more expensive than those from chickens that live indoors.
