This is how i'd look at it if that was the case.
#1 - why the fuck were they allowed to get the list? that would be mike's own security problem really in the end and a reason to realize he needs better security in the future.

Simplest way for anyone caught stealing a list is to show an email with the full headers of the seeded email list. If that can't be produced, than stfu.

You are wrong. Mailing lists are people, some lists do well with teens versus anal sites, and sales correspond to what was mailed for.

#3 - If the mailing WAS done - it would have been done illegially - why not goto spam cops or the like and make it a living hell for that program if you have the proof?


Where do you get your info from? Seriously, someone with a copy of DarK Mailer and 5 day old proxies does not a mailer one make. Explain how it was illegally sent if the list was stolen, and obviously an opt in one. I can't see why anyone would care for a General Interest list.

One reason they can't go to Spam cop is because they dont' have copies of any emails sent. Spamcop works for the person who received the email, not for someone who thinks their email list was stolen.


#4. - What's done is done - it's in the past - i ASSUME it's not like they got all the new members and are mailing them every week is it? clamp up secuity and move on

Good Opt In mailing lists last for a good long time. Espcially opt in members.

Easy enough to prove. Show an email from a seeded opt in email that has full headers that lead to the server from which it was sent.

If that can't be done, shut the fuck up.
